Lerato’s Crime Desk began in November 2025 as a simple newsletter on LinkedIn with no grand plan behind it. The more I learned about fraud and financial crime, the more I felt compelled to write about it and share it publicly.
16 November 2025, I wrote:

Today, the platform has grown into a space where financial crime cases, blogs, and resources are researched, written, and published for professionals in the industry and those who want to understand or enter this field.

I have seen the growth on my page from sharing about fraud and financial crime. The amazing connections I have fostered lead me to always presenting the best on the platform. Without the support of my followers and subscribers, Lerato’s Crime Desk would definitely not be in existence.
