Lerato’s Crime Desk began in November 2025 as a simple newsletter on LinkedIn with no grand plan behind it. The more I learned about fraud and financial crime, the more I felt compelled to write about it and share it publicly.
16 November 2025, I wrote:

It’s definitely not like I said it would be. Today, the platform has grown into a space where financial crime cases, blogs, and resources are researched, written, and published for professionals in the industry and those who want to understand or enter this field.

I’ve seen meaningful growth from sharing insights about fraud and financial crime. The connections formed through this journey continue to encourage me to present thoughtful, well-researched content on the platform.
